Conventional Radiology

This section now provides Digital Radiographic images with the help of a Kodak CR 800. Digital images result in a much higher resolution, detecting pathologies which may have been missed on a conventional film screen X-ray. There is no loss of films or retakes due to poor technical parameters. All conventional radiographic procedures such as brium, contrast and small bowel enema studies are performed.

Sonography

This section is equipped with a high resolution ATL 3000 ultrasound machine with multiple probes scanning from 2.5 to 12 Mhz. All sonographic examinations and interventional procedures are performed. Endocavitatory probes provide superb image quality for endovaginal and endorectal examinations

Mammography

This section is equipped with a high resolution mammography machine from GE Medical systems providing detailed imaging of the breast with extreamly low radiation. A streostatic biopsy device is attached to provide precise wire localization and biopsies of focal breast lesions

CT Scan

This section is equipped with a subsecond Siemens Spiral CT. This is particularly useful for paediatric, trauma and critically ill patients.Most examinations are performed on a decidated work station. A CT Fluroscopy is available for extreamly precise interventional procedures.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

We have a 1.5 Tesla unit, Philips Gyroscan - the most advanced MRI scanner capable of carrying out diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
