The hospital's Blood bank is conviniently located on the ground floor of the hospital with a panoramic view of the Arabian Sea. We are one of the pioneer Blood banks in the city for Component therapy. We prepare Platelets, Plasma, Cryoprecipitate, Packed cells and all these are available for out patients also. We promote the use of leuco-depleted blood products.

Apheresis procedures are carried out routinely for platelets and protocols are available for plasma exchange and harvesting stem cells. We have state of the art donor testing equipment used by the finest blood banks worldwide, such as fully automated walkaway ELISA, and Gel Agglutination Technology.

The blood bank is licenced by the Maharashtra state F.D.A and is affiliated to the Federation of Mumbai Blood Banks. A Daycare Transfusion Service is available where blood and blood components are transfused.
