| How to reach Breach Candy Hospital? |

- By Train ... route is from Byculla Station or Mumbai Central station take a cab for Breach Candy Hospital or catch Bus No. 63 from these two stations for Breach Candy.

| What are the different types of rooms in your hospital and what are the charges? |

The hospital DO NOT have any class system. All the rooms are single, ac rooms with or without attached bathrooms. Each room is equipped with a TV and telephone. The accommodation charges are inclusive of diet, linen and nursing services.
| How are bed charges calculated? |
 |
The bed charges accounting cycle is 11am to 11 am. You are requested to contact the billing department or the admission counter for further details.
| Can the room be retained, if the patient is shifted to ICU? |
 |
Rooms must be vacated on transfer of patient to ICU or any other ward.
| How should one reserve an OT or a bed? |
 |
- To reserve a bed, you are requested to contact the Booking office, situated at the ground floor of the hospital, Monday to Sunday, 8 am to 8 pm.
- Please ask your doctor to contact the Booking Office for OT reservation.
| Does reservation confirms by choice of room? |
 |
All efforts will be made to allot you a room of your choice. However, please note that allotment of rooms is purely based on the subject to availability.
| What is the acceptable mode of payment? |
 |
You may pay by cash, credit / debit card, demand drafts or pay orders. The hospital routinely does not accept cheques.
| What is the admission time? |
 |
All planned admissions are done between 4-5 pm.
| What are the visiting hours? |
 |
No children are allowed in the morning hours.
| How may passes are issued? |
 |
One pass for a single attendant to stay for 24 hours and a reliever’s pass is issued at the time of admission. You are requested to contact the Booking office for special ICU passes and main reception for surgery passes.
| Can I bring food from my house? |
 |
The hospital has a qualified and well trained team of dieticians and kitchen staff to cater to all your dietary needs. No outside food is allowed in the hospital.
| Where do I collect my pending reports post discharge? |
 |
You may collect the pending reports from the main report dispatch counter, on production of the pending slip on any working day.
| What are the emergency charges? |
 |
Any surgeries / procedures done between Saturday 5 pm to Monday 8 am are considered as emergency procedures. All procedures done between 8pm -8am on any other day are also considered as emergency charges.
| Can we buy medicines or consumables from outside? |
 |
Outside medicines or consumables are not allowed for in patients.
| Do you provide ambulance services? |
 |
The hospital has tie up with various ambulance services. You are requested to contact the main reception for the same.
| Is there any service charge on the hospital bills? |
 |
No service charge is levied on the bills.
| What is the procedure of refund? |
 |
Refund below Rs.20, 000/- are done by cash at the time of discharge. Refund above Rs.20,000 are done by cheque after seven working days from the day of discharge. In case the payment is made by a credit / debit card, the refund cheque is issued in favour of the card after realization of the amount.
| Can I have my cashless facility availed at your hospital? |

We have tie up with various Third Party Administrators (TPA) for cashless benefits. Please contact the Booking office for the same. Please note that the hospital accepts ole corporate policies.
| Do you have telephone facilities for patients in the hospital? |
 |
Every private room has a telephone that enables you to make calls within the hospital. Please dial 23667 and then the room number to make calls directly to the room from outside. No calls are permitted in the critical care units.
